So it really was quite a party. And, thankfully, none of the present company seemed like they would end up making her want to rip her eyes out of her head by the end of the journey. That meant Becca was going to have to be the adult in the situation and keep it going. How terribly exciting.

"So. Uh. What do you guys do... or where do you guys tend to hang out around the school in your free time? It's weird that I haven't seen much of any of you around - maybe except for you, Mariel."

EEP. The boy was talking to her. Cedes wondered if being near a boy while they were talking would get her infected. Maybe something about the particles and the carbon dioxide being released would contain some of the infectants. She would have to consult the Cootie Digest. Luckily she had a copy of it in her book bag at that moment, but she didn't really want to pull it out. People always ended up laughing at her and her fear of cooties. They just didn't understand. If only they read the FIRST page of the Cootie Digest, they'd understand. It wasn't a fluke. It was REAL. Cooties... EXIST!

Forcing a small smile, Cedes nodded her head. "Nice to meet you Kevin. Fifth year, Ravenclaw." She thought about shaking his hand, but then laughed at herself. Good one, Cedes. Good one.

"Oh. You know. The usual places. Though I tend to stay away from those places of both gend - I mean... yeah. But I intend on doing more stuff this year. Try out for Quidditch, maybe?"
