That alone just up'd the respect points for this girl. "Third year level." she repeated, nodding slowly and checking on her little kitten every now and then. Yup, still happy. Good. "Can you do anything yet?"
And that alone would tell her partly of what kind of family this girl had. Usually people underage couldn't do magic at home.
Normally, Evelyn would have hated having her compartment door open, but right now she didn't really care. Right now, it had it's uses. Like the fact that she heard a very impatient, and very familiar voice which made her smile grow tremendously. Everyone was almost here.
And for the THIRD time in under an hour, she was surprised. Not by the loud tone of her friend's voice, or that she had important news to tell her, but by the thing she was carrying. "Is that...Sly?" she asked, glancing over at her own little kitten in Kylie's arms. Uh oh. Her little eyes were not blue anymore...but black.
"Kylie, I suggest you put her down." Because she had claws, and she knew how to use them!
Meh. Was there a sign outside this compartment that said 'Open Compartment' or something? Obviously this was another firstie who didn't know who they were. But then again, now that she was thinking about it, this was another firstie...who didn't know who they were! Mwaha! Fresh minds, and fresh victims.
"Hello Ellie." she smiled, glancing at Destiny and Kylie, and giving them a LOOK that hopefully said Be Nice! These people might actually be decent and worth their time. Even though yes, Evelyn did mind if she joined them. "Please, have a seat." When she was spoken to, Ellie had an odd feeling that she might regret this decision. But she thought she could always use the 'food trolley' excuse if she didn't want to stay. She was friendly, she could always make friends elsewhere. So she walked in and took a seat. "Thanks. It's nice to meet you." she said cautiously. Hopefully her thoughts didn't show in her face or voice.
