Seraphina strolled into the office just as it turned 8:00. She was perfectly on time, which was definitely NOT the norm, and in Seraphina's book meant that today was going well. She giggled to herself and then stopped abruptly when the sound of her own laugh surprised her. It had been so long since she had felt like laughing. As she walked down the hall thinking, she noticed that a new sign stood on the door of the Department Heads office. Seraphina figured she should probably introduce herself since she never even met the woman who hired her. She walked up to the door and knocked gently, since she thought she heard voices inside.
