His steps were long, and she knew he was trying to avoid this conversation. Looking over her shoulder, she found that Draco was walking with Dani, and she tugged on Snape's elbow. "You... don't... I..." She stopped him and stomped her foot, frustrated at how inept she was at speaking. "Don't pity me, Severus. I can make my own mistakes."
