Wow, Maxie, What a very powerful post in every way. The power the letter had over Malfoy that held his attention through the pleasant meal he enjoyed with his parents. LOL I'm being sarcastic, but, my point is that even if it was an enjoyable time, he still would have been held captivated by the letter. It held him strongly enough that he didn't even have any qualms of the punishment he would have for being late, and for not showing up to meet his fathers wrath. For all his years of training to be as his father taught him to be suddenly out the door for the power the letter had over him.

He goes out to meet this entity in the form of a woman, and she has power over him he can't even begin to imagine. What is it that can have so much power, and why does it need Draco. Cause I don't think it's a matter of wanting him as Draco first thought, or suggested. I really think something needs him, and has come to show him what and why. I myself am anxious to know, but it's scary. Great post Maxie! I can't wait for the next one. But, I will be hiding if it's here we come back to.
