Awesome title. <3333333

It would have been summer for her, for Ginny, given that she wants a lot of what Muriel's giving her. But then with that come the drawbacks, all the things she doesn't want, and maybe a lot of things that she'd rather not have are on the way too. In any case, it's all very real but it still manages to be an illusion. Nice use of words!!

Pick off what he wants in the sky bowl
That is TRULY a gorgeous pick. I am impressed and it was a beautiful read. I especially love the two verses I've quoted.

but she was pretty certain that she would not, not on pain of death, consent to wear any of Muriel’s frilly dresses.

It was, except for the fact that it was in Aunt Muriel’s clutches, a beautiful dress – pale pink silk, that scrunched up at the front into a lovely foam, its gathers of golden held, at one side of the waist, by a buckle of pure silver. It cascaded downwards, in a sea of expensive fabric, and its hem touched the floor in little points of light that were, Ginny realized rather suddenly, circular gemstones that shone a beautiful, red-orange in the light of the lamps of Aunt Muriel’s bedroom.
OOOOOOOOHHH!! Gorgeous!! This reminds me of the description of Serene's dress in Ecstasy. Even though that one was totally different. A turquoise and silver one right? LOL!! I was so hooked on to Ecstasy!! But I just want to say, you never fail to stun me with your awesome descriptions of dresses. Truly awesome!!

Quote:
I am a most noble and ingenious lady, as I am sure you already know.

Ginny found it easy, right now, to resist the urge to hand Muriel her fifteen-year old and very battered copy of Omnigott's Basic Dictionary for Seven Year Olds.
LOLOLOLZ! Great. Does she want Muriel to check out the meanings of noble and ingenious?

Quote:
That, too, without ever getting to know that Ginny had been secretly sneaking into a neighbour's garden, via a wall, when the dress had been torn.
GAWSH! I love the Ginny you write Max!!

Quote:
Congratulate me on choosing with such brilliancy!
Lol! I almost thought Muriel had complimented Ginny!! Well she did but in her own Murielish way. Which includes a lot of Muriel-lovin'!

Quote:
You must not trip over your dress and let everyone know you have huge feet, or break your high heels and let everyone know you've probably never worn them before, or chatter away like the insensible thing you can be. You must also not –”
Trust me that wuz TOOO hilarious!

GREATTT job!!

Quote:
“Do I have to make any fancy speeches?” Ginny asked, point-blank. “Say something stupid, or –”

“Yes,” Aunt Muriel said, rather curtly. “You must thank him, and express how honoured you are to receive such an invite.”
Do you know, this bit of convo is actually representative of how Aunt Muriel and Ginny are coming to terms with each other. Ginny's starting to be more of herself but she still makes sure she tries her best to keep Muriel happy and Muriel is warming up towards her great neice even though she doesn't actually show it. But here she doesn't scold Ginny on being so point-blank and doesn't beat about the bush herself, when replying.

Quote:
"I certainly don’t think Mr. Goatpaddle, or whatever his name is, will be very pleased if I let him know that.”
Goatpaddle!

Quote:
“His name is not Googoopaddle!” Aunt Muriel flared.
Googoopaddle!

GREATTTTTTTTTTTTT chappehh chicka!

Love,
~~Jay~~
