The makers of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 released a couple new behind-the-scenes videos showing clips of Fang in Hagrid’s Hut and Aragog’s lair, Hermione’s less-than-skilled attempts to ride a broom, Voldemort’s bodiless soul attempting to snatch the Sorcerer’s Stone from an unconscious Harry, Scabbers hiding in Hagrid’s Hut and Cornish Pixies having a go at Professor Lockhart. The game creators discuss the importance they placed on making the characters personalities true to the books, as well as their specific abilities, and how they strived to immerse the player in Hogwarts by creating complex, fully developed areas both inside and outside the castle.

Loz Doyle, game’s senior producer: The thing I love about this game is Fang because he’s animated in such a charming way. He can climb ladders, he digs, he whimpers. He’s like a real dog. You don’t often get to play as a dog in a game. Especially not a LEGO dog.
Additionally, a couple of promo pics of the Charms classroom from the Nintendo DS version were
released online.
The LEGO game, out this June, can be pre-ordered at Amazon.com in the following formats:
