The lights in the conference room suddenly begin blinking on and off, and a sound is heard as if a power outage has occurred. However, the noise is followed by the sound of a woman screaming in fear, and when the lights come back on, you find that Senior Undersecretary Carlton has vanished. It seems that whoever has your Minister is taking people out---and they're apparently starting at the very top and working their way down.

A small piece of parchment seems to be floating down in the exact same spot Senior Undersecretary Carlton once stood. It flutters about until it lands in the hands of the Junior Undersecretary, Mr. Claudian Slughorn.
