Xena nodded. A raise sounded like something she could live with. 90 days wasn't too long. If she didn't like it, she could quit way before then anyway. "I look forward to having that discussion with you in time." Though she hoped they would talk before then.

She smiled, "It takes a while to get it looking like this. It rarely does what I actually want it to do. But when it does. It does it well." She loved her hair when it looked good. In the morning though, was another matter. It did not look good then.

An escort? Sounded like a plan. "I would love to be escorted to the work area, maybe you could introduce me to Briony. I do need to know who she is, after all." She stood up slowly from the chair. "Would you like to go for a drink some time? I don't really know anyone around here, it would be nice to have some company."
