I'm sorry to hear that my letter didn't bring you luck, but yes, always next year. My first two terms here, we got second too, which isn't the same as first but its better than THIRD or LAST! Love that word by the way!

Nothing fun – just more research and maybe London. Will I see you? I think I'm allergic to flitterblooms by the way. Not like an allergic – cant-be-near – but rather, the 'I miss you' allergy sort. Ice cream on July 19th? My treat.
