Today - April Fools Day, Thursday April 1st, 2010, we at SnitchSeeker would like to wish a very happy 32nd birthday to Fred and George Weasley, the comical duo from the Potter books.

The pair have been present throughout the series, usually up to mischief in one way or another, from giving Harry Potter the Marauder's Map to planting a swamp in the Hogwarts Castle during Dolores Umbridge's time at the school. The final book brought several tragedies to the twins, first involving the loss of George's ear, and then the untimely death of Fred Weasley, in the Battle of Hogwarts. Their joke shop, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes remained open following Fred's death, with younger brother Ronald helping out, before departing to become an Auror.

Fred and George are portrayed in the Potter movies by James and Oliver Phelps, respectively.
