Destiny nodded her head, telling Carter she understood. She wasn't sure if the summer break would be long enough for her to get over what had happened. It was going to take time, something like that might even take a few years to get over.

A low-key summer was just what Destiny would like, but of course it would not happen.
'I'm not sure what I am doing yet. I'm hoping that I get to stay home, but my parents go away during the summer, so I'll probably be shipped off somewhere.' She just hoped it wasn't to her grandmothers house. Spending summer there would just put her in a fouler mood.
Destiny smirked as she saw Carter eying up the pie.
'Here, I'll get you another piece.' she said as she took his plate away and placed another piece on it. Instead of handing it to him, she smashed it..right in his face.
Paybacks for stealing her wand?
