Taking a deep breath, she turned to look at Ziva, "Zi, listen, about that day at the gate. I'm really sorry. You were right, but you know... I just... I deal with things in my own way. And Nate and I had literally only been broken up for, well, not even an hour. I just still couldn't understand it you know? But I'm sorry for the way I talked to you. You were just trying to be a good friend, and I should have been more receptive." And she just looked at Ziva, waiting on her to say something. And hoping Zi would forgive her.
Zi wanted to stare straight ahead of her, she didn't really feel like focusing on anything in paticular except possibly her book that was in her lap. She forced herself to look up at Cadence and listen to her apology. Sure Zi knew she
had been a bit quick to act on things when Cadence still might've needed more time to cope with what had happened. But Ziva wasn't about to apologize. Cadence knew how she was and it shouldn't had come as a suprise...just like how she didn't want to talk about the fight at the moment
. "I understand." she muttered at her with a feeble smile.
