Ziva looked up from her book to find Cadence. She gave a weak smile, she wasn't sure if she could handle her at a moment where all she wanted to do was sleep and cry. "An old Greek fable." she told Cadence turning the page. She bit her lip and looked at Cadence, she wasn't sure how to continue on. But she fell silent instead, deciding that since Cadence was the one to come to her once more, she could continue the conversation.

And now when I see my friends, I just feel so relieved to know that they're okay. You... you are okay, right?" she asked, studying Ziva's face. She didn't really seem alright, but Ziva wasn't exactly the kind of person to gush about her feelings, so she would just wait for Ziva to talk about what was wrong. If she wanted to, that was.
