Riiya places her quill down on the table and got up from her chair. she had sat behind, so she had to line up to get the pin. she moved slowly to the front, as she did, she watched as everyone tried their efforts to change the pin into a pill box. she closed her eyes and then looked to the front. once she reached to the desk, she picked up a pin and walked back to her seat. she placed the pin on her table, beside her parchement. taking out her wand from her pocket robe, Riiya looked at the pin. she pointed at the pin.
At one swift short downward motion, she said, "convertere." The pin rolled on the table to the left and then transformed into a beautiful small blue pill box. she kept back her wand and picked up her box. satisfied of her work she sat back down. she picked up her quill again. she gazed at the class who were all busy transfigurating the pin, she looked back down to her parchment and wrote a few more notes from class.
A question arrised from her mind. she was confronted by this question before and wanted to confirm her reply. she raised her hand and looked up, hoping that the Professor saw her hand from the front. then it struck her. she was about to ask a question...in class...while everyone was still there..fear came to her mind, but it was too late now.
"Excuse m-me, Professor. i was curious about the concept o-of Transfiguration. how does it work exactly...?" |
