Tiberius took frantic notes. He knew it was silly to think he'd never have to duel again, so, eager to not ever embarrass himself like he'd done against Celandine, he wanted to write down as many tricks and tactics as possible.
He looked up at Truebridge as he asked the question. Raising his hand, he hazarded a guess. "Um, well, if something's coming right at you and stepping out of the way wouldn't work, that would determine what you would do. Like, you wouldn't just let it hit you so you could attack." Right?
