Here's the new post
Emily skipped off to the common room, thinking about tomorrow’s lesson. She told the Fat Lady the password and found Fred and George in a corner. Walking over to them, she saw that they were discussing something. Fred caught sight of Emily and nudged George in the arm. He turned around, saw her, and straightened up. Emily furrowed her brow in confusion.
“What’s up?” she asked them.
“Nothing,” replied George.
“Nothing at all,” Fred agreed.
“So, have you told Remus, then?” George asked.
“Told him what?”
“You know... The journal,” George dropped his voice to a whisper.
“Oh, nope, sure haven’t. What made you think I had?” she asked back.
“Well, you went to see him today and you looked all serious and everything...I just thought you were going to tell him,” George explained.
“Oh, no. That was for an entirely different reason. So, what did I interrupt?”
“Oh, nothing, nothing,” George responded.
“What are you two hiding?” she asked suspiciously.
“You’re delusional,” Fred grinned, throwing back her words. Emily grinned back, but didn’t forget about the subject of their conversation.
“So, how come you won’t tell me?” she asked.
“We were just talking about the joke shop again. You know, brainstorming on how we’re gonna pay for it and what not,” replied George.
“Don’t worry, you’ll find a way,” Emily smiled reassuringly. Fred and George smiled back.
“You ready to go down to dinner?”
“Yep,” said Fred.
“Uh huh,” agreed George.
The three made their way down to the Great Hall, Lee joining them. They all sat down nearly half way down the Gryffindor table. Emily glanced over at the Slytherin table and saw Draco staring at her. She blushed and looked down at the table. George had followed her gaze and then glanced at her.
“Hey, you’re better off without him, Ems. Trust me,” George whispered in her ear. She just nodded and continued looking at the table. Dumbledore stood up and said a few words. He waved his hands and the food appeared. Emily dug into the food, happy to have an excuse for not speaking. Emily ate and ate and ate, until she was too full to eat anymore. When she finished, she looked up to see Fred, George, and Lee staring at her.
“What?” she asked them.
“Er... Emily, what are Fred and I secretly planning to do when we finish school?” George asked.
Emily gave them a weird look before replying,
“Start a joke shop. Why?”
“And, what did we walk in on you and a certain someone doing that one night?” Fred asked, ignoring her question.
“Snogging. Exactly why are you guys quizzing me?” she asked them, blushing slightly.
“And, er...what is my favorite color?” asked George.
“Blue. Now will someone please tell me what’s going on.” She was starting to get frustrated with her unanswered questions.
“Well, Emily, I believe they’re testing you to make sure it’s really you,” replied Lee.
“I mean, you could be Ron using Polyjuice Potion for all you’ve eaten.”
“Maybe I was just hungry,” stated Emily defensively.
“Maybe you shouldn’t skip lunch,” accused George.
“Yes, thank you, mother. I’ll try taking your advice next time,” said Emily sarcastically. Fred and Lee chuckled at their bickering.
“Yes, honey, mother does know best,” George grinned. Emily grinned back and shoved him slightly.
“So, what’s on the agenda tomorrow guys?” Fred asked.
“I don’t know. Maybe some flying or Hogsmeade or something,” replied George.
“I can’t really do anything tomorrow guys; I made plans with Remus,” said Emily. Emily looked at George, who had a frown on his face. As soon as he saw her looking, he replaced it with a smile.
“That’s cool, maybe we’ll save Hogsmeade for when you can grace us with your presence,” said George, smiling.
“You could always do your homework, you know. I know you haven’t finished,” accused Emily.
“Er...that would be hard to do if you’re not there to give us the answers,” answered Fred. Emily laughed at his serious face.
“I think you can handle it one time without me,” she said. They nodded their heads, though she knew they didn’t believe her and were not going to do their homework tomorrow.
Emily, George, Fred, and Lee stayed in the common room after dinner talking about the joke shop and what not. Getting tired, they finally decided to part their ways and get some sleep.
Emily awoke the next morning from another nightmare of the man in the posters. Sighing, she rolled out of bed and put on some clothes. She walked downstairs to find Fred, George, and Lee waiting on her. She waved slightly.
“Mornin’ guys,” Emily said.
Good Morning!” exclaimed Fred. Emily questioned his sanity. He was way too chipper.
“How long have you guys been up?” she asked them.
“It’s ten o’clock, Ems. If you had been any later, we would have missed breakfast. But then again, you don’t mind missing meals, do you?” George smirked.
Emily smiled.
“Whatever, let’s just go eat.” She started walking toward the portrait hole as they followed her.
