Sigh. Jack was NOT in the mood to transform himself into a walking fruit tree. Still, what if this came up on his NEWTs and he didn't know it?! He'd never forgive himself.
What was his favorite fruit or vegetable? Hmm, it was SO hard to pick just one! Maybe pineapples? No, that would make his head look HUGE. Maybe kiwis? MMMMMMM Kiwi. Nah, he settled on lemons...he just LOVED lemonade.
He closed his eyes and pictured two pretty lemons, and then raised his wand. "Fructus Verto!" he said, waving his wand about. He felt a weird stinging on his ears and...EEE! He had lemons for ears! Hehe. WEIRD.
And...what a WEIRD sensation it was.
They were itchy. Noooo, actually...they were kind of stinging.
OHMIGOSH he had forgotten about how tangy lemons were! DUH FRITZERA. Didn't citric acid ring a bell!? He reached up and scratched his stingy itchy ears and found that, to his relief, that helped out tremendously.
