Professor Pilliwickle smiled around the room, glad to see the look of concentration upon all the little faces around her. Now this was where the fun started..
"When you can picture that fruit or vegetable clearly in your mind, its wands at the ready!" Mildred giggled, raising her own wand and directing it right at one ear. She was picturing her own favourite PURPLE fruit. The plum. HEHE.
"Now, if it's a VEGGIE you're concentrating on, the incantation for you is Vegetabilis Verto! And if it's a FRUIT?"
Wait for iiiiiit...
"Fructus Verto!" With a light swish of her wand, and a small puff of purple smoke, Professor Pilliwickle showed off the plums she was now sporting as ears. Her hearing was a bit muffled but she could still hear her shrill giggles. Plum ears always cheered her up.
"Think you can all manage that? Concentrate. Swish of the wand. Clear incantation. You can practice on your ears or your noses. Bananas make good noses if I do say so myself."
