The voices in the room didn't help either, just increased her pain and caused tears to flow down her bloodied face. Shivering slightly from the sudden chill, she weakly pulled the jacket tighter around her small body. Arya still didn't know where she was in this horrible nightmare, all she knew was that she wanted to wake. But who was carrying her? She couldn't remember ever being carried in her previous nightmares so why was this one so diffrent, she didn't know nor care. She just wanted it to end. The only good that came from the nightmare was the soothing rhythm of her rescuer's breathing. As she absently snuggled into the rescuer's arms, she continued to drift in and out of consciousness. When he heard her breathing catch again with the concious registration of pain, Sabel's eyes snapped down. Agony seared through his core at the sight of more tears running down her cheeks; he couldn't imagine how much pain she was in and he didn't know what to do to help. The only reassurance was when she nuzzled slightly against him, causing him to hold her closer, trying to envelope her in a gentle, warming, essence of protectiveness. He wished he could do more for her, wished he wasn't so frozen in place, but then he was terrified that any further movement would just cause her more pain. So he stood there, waiting as he trembled, holding her close and gently stroking a place on her arm, where he was sure there was no blood and no bruising, with his fingers.
