So I have not posted in FOREVER sorry i have been VERY busy Good stuff i promise.I wont go into details unless you are interested (pm if so)

On with the long awaited continuance of the story.....

Chapter 5- Revelation

Two days had passed since Draco’s departure and Cassie lay in bed as the sun rose she was beginning to feel older as all her company was now old enough to be her parents, however she enjoyed Narcissa’s attempts to keep her occupied. A familiar popping sound told her that Fefe was in her room to help her change.

“Mornin’ Miss” Fefe said joyfully as she pulled the curtains reveling the pink sunrise. “ Ready for another day miss?” she added while holding up dresses for inspection and finally settling on a lilac dress with purple sash.

“That one is lovely” Cassie said in reference to the dress. She stretched and claimed out of bed quickly changing into the dress. “ Is Breakfast ready?”

“Yes Miss downstairs in the conservatory as usual” Fefe responded picking up Cassie’s nightgown and snapping the bed bad into order.

“Thank you Fefe” Cassie said as she walked out the door towards the conservatory.

Narcissa and Lucius where already in the garden filled room busy with tasks. Lucius was reading the Daily Prophet and Narcissa was pruning the Venomous Tentacula .

“Good Morning Dear” Narcissa said as she replaced the glass on the plants terrarium with a flick of her wand.

“Good morning Mrs Malfoy” Cassie said while grabbing a seat and pulling it out “ And Mr Malfoy. Beautiful morning we are having today.”

“A little cold but good never the less” Narcissa replied

Breakfast went this way every morning pleasantries and weather and it began to make Cassie feel at home. When they had finished eating Narcissa excused herself and asked Cassie to join her.

Cassie walked behind Narcissa as they strolled the manor in no real hurry to get any where.

Narcissa was the first to break the silence “ My sisters and I were raised to believe that the only true way to happiness was to be apart of a family. So at an early age my parents had already chosen our husbands. Bella and I were both married to our husbands when we turned 18. Bella was less convinced of the need for companionship as I was however she agreed on the grounds that she wanted to better her position in life.” Narcissa spoke as though she was reliving a moment in her life and Cassie listened attentively to every word.

Narcissa turned to open a door that led to a room on the seconded floor the room was strikingly beautiful and feminine. “ This is my dressing room” she said as she motioned for Cassie to sit at a marble vanity. “When I arrived here at Malfoy Manor my mother in law was very sick having caught the decease the killed her husband Abraxas Malfoy.”

Narcissa reached for a large ornately carved box and opened it revealing many glittering jewels inside. “before she passed she gave me these.” She said while holding up a lacey amethyst necklace and placing it on Cassie’s neck.

“ She told me that every Mrs. Malfoy has passed these down to her eldest son’s wife since they were first bought over five hundred years ago.” Narcissa paused letting Cassie admire the glittering heirloom that hung on her neck.

“Its beautiful” Cassie said as she looked it in the mirror and then smiled at Narcissa who was also smiling.

Narcissa closed the box leaving the necklace around Cassie’s neck. “Mrs. Malfoy here you forgot to put this back “ Cassie said while trying to unhook the necklace.

“ I like it on you Cassandra” Narcissa replied reaffixing the necklace. “how would you like to own these for yourself?” she added with her hand on the box.

“But the only way that would be is if I marry…”Cassie slowed down as she understood the reason that Narcissa brought her up here. “ Am I to marry your son Mrs. Malfoy?” Cassie asked had this been what Draco had wanted to ask on the stairs?

Narcissa thought for a moment before she responded Draco had advised that she break this news carefully. “You could if that is your Fathers will.” Narcissa paused to watch how Cassie was taking this information before continuing.

“There are others wishing for your hand in marriage. You are the last in the Slytherin bloodline. Something that many men find desirable. Your husband would also become your father right hand if he so chooses.” Narcissa paused before continuing again.

“ If my son is successful in his tasks the Dark Lord has given him he may win that favor.”

The smile that Cassie once held on her face had faded to become a look of concern. She turned to the mirror
And held the purple jewels in her fingers as she contemplated her future happiness.
