There was no way Marie was going into that forest without some sort of light, even if it was just a small amount from her wand. Looking back she made sure Destiny and Evelyn were right there with her. Now where were Carter and Mina?

She raised her hand, "Professor, only those that have seen death will be able to see the Thestrals." Marie had never seen death before, except when she dreamt about a certain nosy brat being dead. "Does it count if the death you have seen is in a dream?" Because if it did then Marie would definately be able to see them. "Oh, or what about if it was the death of something like say...... a spider? Would that count?" Yes, she had seen the death of a spider before....right after she stepped on it.
