Ivory was only a first year and sure, Evelyn wasn't much older but the Slytherin girl had the makings of an excellent dueler one day. Cela thought all the talking was a weakness though, better to zip lip and just duel.
Her eyes flickered to Ivory and Cela continued murmuring soundlessly, repeating over and over each and every spell the duelers used. It was like even under this sort of stress she couldn't help but analyse the progress of the duel, like she had nowhere else for her mind to retreat to.
Ivory needed to shield faster and concentrate on disarming and disabling Evelyn. She'd be better off if she kept it simple. Strong and simple.
Hollow smile upon his face, he turned to Cela and held out the specs in an offering gesture. But, then drew them back, remembering what she did to his flask. He missed it. Mummy had it engraved and everything. How could he have forgotten to pick it back up?
He looked down at the arena with and without the omnioculars, before deciding that he liked the view of the arena without them. "What a fight, eh, Kit...Cela?" |
