The Slytherin couldn't quite remember if the Professor told them to record their stuff, but she might as well do it just in case she wanted it afterwards. She grabbed her Astronomy notebook, and then she pulled out a nice sheet of parchment before recording:
She placed her pen on the parchment when she was done and when Jack asked if she wanted to outline the circle, she shook her head. "You can do it," she told him. "I'll hold the book in place while you draw it." She gave him a little smile before going back over to the book and holding it in place for Jack, so that it wouldn't move when he was trying to draw the circle. "Umm, just on parchment, I guess," Jack replied as Reese pulled out a piece of parchment. Jack scribbled notes on his own as well. "Don't forget to write down the brightness too!" he reminded her with a smile as he took his notes.
He took his quill and started to trace the circle. He had had lots of practice drawing circles, due to all the doodles of planets he had drawn all over his notes in the past. He traced the light circle and labeled it "0 degrees" on the paper before grabbing the protrator. "Ok, you can measure and I'll trace it again," he suggested as he put the finishing touches on his circle.
