Then she moved the ruler to measure from the paper to the block of wood.

"Four inches."
"Maybe you got confused because protractors are used in a lot of geometrical measurements, too?" Gold asked, with a shrug. "I mean, that is how you measure angles."

"Anyway, it's absolutely alright, Mr. T." She gave him a smile. "I really wouldn't have been able to do this alone." Well, she could have had, but it would not have been half as much fun.

Not to mention, the latter parts were ... not this easy.

ANDD! Four inches?

"Righto!"

Gold dipped her fancy-topped quill in pink ink, and jotted down the measurement in their lab notebook. "We have to keep the graph paper at this distance, for all testing," she said, as she closed the notebook, and looked down at the paper the Professor had handed them. The one that contained all the instructions and stuff.

Have a helper hold the graph paper vertically at the starting distance in front of the flashlight.

"Looks like we have to test the surface," Gold said, frowning a bit. This was where the more complicated steps began, and she was not so sure if she liked them that much. "Would you look like to hold the graph paper, or draw and stuff, Mr. T?"

She looked up at him, as she spoke.

Ze difficult stuff was HERE!
