"Neither," Reese quickly responded. "I mean...I lost it, but..." There was no good way of explaining what had happened. "I don't lose things that easily, Professor. I've lost a few notes here and there, but I would never lose anything like a badge. And I most definitely didn't break it," she explained. So where did it go? She had NO IDEA!

"You see, I got injured. Badly injured. All I remember was leaving the sleepover for something, and then Jack and Torin found me in the entrance hall. I don't remember anything that happened during that time, and I had my badge at the sleepover, I was found in the entrance without it," she told Lupa. "Soooo..."
