~Otts, I love it when we're in Professor Mandelbrot's classroom! It's wonderful!
Quote:
"While I'm disappointed in the loss of the brooch Miss Crandall I am more disappointed in your not feeling the desire to come to me and trust me with your failure," the headmaster exclaimed.
Isn't that generally the way it is though. Young'uns not being able to confide there failures or disappointments to the authority figure in question, especially if great respect is felt for the one being disappointed, this case being the Headmaster.
Quote:
The headmaster was not amused. He was not yelling either, but his disappointment in them was clear in his sighs and those usually chipper gleaming eyes which now were dull and sad.
This is my point exactly. How could anyone who respects the man, face the disappointment, and sadness in those eyes.
Great post ~Otts!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to get to read more of your stories. And, I do love your Avitar, and siggies. Thundercats, (one of my favorite cartoons while my children were growing up, btw) and Transformers is the only superheroe's that come to mind.
