She frowned in thought and said, "Well the founders of Hogwarts wanted to create these houses in which students can fit into probably because they had different interests and wanted these houses to reflect their special qualities. Things they're good at. The students have to have these qualities to fit into each of those houses and competitions are held to sort of make the students get more involved into working as a team. Something like that. And people who are cunning are meant to go into Slytherin. Just because you're in Slytherin or your parents were in Slytherin doesn't make you a bad person or mean that you would end up to be a Death Eater. It just means that Slytherin has gained a nice person. You're not going on too much. Its normal to be curious." Hermione smiled and drank some more pumpkin juice, hoping that she wasn't talking too much; it's what happens when someone asks her a question.
