It's not like this was the first time she did this to you." To Marie it totally sounded like Marilyn was still trying to play Carter for a fool. Then it hit her, she didn't really know what Carter wanted now. "So.... do you want to be her friend? I mean do you think that is something you could ever do, just be friends with her?" She tried to think how she would feel if this situation ever happened between her and Evan. She didn't think she would be able to be his friend if he had cheated on her not only once, but twice. It would be too hard to be around him knowing he was with another girl.
