Oliver gave Miranda a awkward smile then took a few paces back to allow her to enter the Huffie common room. Squinting inside it looked so yellow. Like sunshine and happiness – the yellow gave it a much cosier feel than the cold green of the Slytherin common room. Ah.. he wished he could go inside.
The door closed and echoed down the corridor. He was alone. Shiver. He frowned and leaned against the wall. It wasn't as creepy as the dungeons here but this was the first time he had been alone since he woke up all mangled on the sofa at stupid o' clock earlier that morning.
He moved both his hands up and rubbed his face, wondering who he could tell about this. His dad was a big no no; and his mum was out of the picture. Maybe he and Miranda should put their heads together and write to the Ministry.
