Delanie and Cody sat outside the coffee shop near her house. It was a warm summer and they were enjoying the view. However, Dee was a little distracted, her eyes scanning the faces of the people around them.

“What are you doing?” Cody questioned.

“Looking for hot muggles,” she answered. “I need some new eye candy.”

Cody scoffed. “Look at me!”

Dee turned her attention to him and laughed. “I’m only joking, love. You know you’re the one I want to look at.” She turned and pointed to an Italian man. “Well, you and that man over there.”

Cody growled.
