She felt really bad for telling him all this and really hoped none of it was new to him because then she would feel even worse for being the one to tell him.

"Oh..." Carter said. Now she was blaming the break-up on blood status? Last year that hadn't even bothered her.

"I guess that's partially true..." he said about the cheating part. "The same thing happened last year. She told me about it and I forgave her." he said sadly. Really, he was just too nice sometimes. "I didn't want to lose her, you know. Even if that meant forgiving something I didn't have to. But... I found out it was happening again. And then she accused me of doing the same thing." he said. He then added, "Which I would never do by-the-way." He took a deep breath. "And then it was just over..."

He looked around. Woah. They had been talking this whole time and he didn't even realize they were all the way to the Hospital Wing already.
