With that Herod took the file from Rex, and Alina raised her eyebrows warningly. It was still early in the morning, and she didn't fancy a really stressed Rex when this case looked like it was going to be awkward enough. Listening to what he said, Alina nodded. She was trying to guess what this inventor was upto. Dangerous and delusional maybe, but she didn't think it was a simple as that.
Turning to Rex, Alina grabbed the parchment and quill that was nearby. She jotted down some notes of his directions, and glanced across at the file in the Department Head's. "We certainly need to limit this to a certain area. Is a reference address given at all? That we could start tracing samples from? And if possible, we could really do with a sample ourselves. To know what we are up against, and to see if the Patent is really what it says to is..." She grimaced, hoping it wasn't go to be as bad as it appeared.
Looking round the room, Alina caught sight of two of employees that had come in since she'd been talking to Herod and Rex. Her face soften into smile, and she beckoned them over. "Suzanna, Loris...I've got a new case for you to work on. Perhaps a bit more sensitive than some of what you've dealt with before. Fancy it?"
'Is there anything I can do?" he asked, mostly to remind Mrs. Newington that he was still there and that it was his file! "What would you like me to do? I think the file said that the masks were given to the Muggles on the south side of London. but it may be a trap. Do you think we should consulte the Aurors, this is very dark magic" he said, more calmly.
