Hearing footsteps, Alina looked up and offered Rex a small smile. "A few," she said at his words, flicking back a few pages. "Firstly, it strikes me as very strange. Why patent something like this, that is only going to draw attention to try and find the perpetrator? They must know we go through the legality of inventions... Alina tilted her head with a serious look on her face, and passed the open file over to Rex. "And look here," she said, pointing at a diagram showing how the invention worked. "Doesn't that look odd? The layering of the spells?" She bit her lip and turned to Herod. "Has anyone found one of the masks and tested it?"
"No, he didn't send one with the file. But if you look here....." he said, flipping the file's pages rapidly, "He says he did give several to Muggle Masqueraders. This man sounds extremly dangerous and possibly delusional!" Herod ran his fingers through his hair.
