Before he spoke about the match, and a tiny grin crept onto her face. "Riley was scared of me?," she asked, a note of curiosity and amusement in her voice. To be honest, she hadn't even known her brother was watching, but the idea that maybe he was a little more worried about her retaliating against him for his annoyances was highly entertaining. "I'm sorry it even sort of horrified you, though. It's just a game." That she could get really into while she was playing, but that was just one thing she accepted as an advantage. Especially since she was captain.

Her smile faltered a little as he continued talking, reminding her about the less fun aspects of the match she'd just participated in, and she sighed again. Even his joke about how he was horrible in the sport didn't really help an awful lot. "I know. I just wish we were playing for the Cup, not third place. I mean, you can't deny it would have been nice to graduate with both Cups back in Ravenclaw, can you?," she asked, almost rhetorically. Especially as he suddenly frowned down at her fingers as she stared at them, and she shrugged. "Sort of. They're kind of the worst part of everything I'm feeling, pain-wise. But I'm hoping it all gets fixed soon," she said, trying to convince him not to worry so much. Even as she continued to feel the dull ache of her bruises, and her arm from hanging onto her broom the one time, along with the sharper pain from her fingers. She didn't want him to know everything that was wrong with her, or he'd really get protective. And she knew the healer was really good at what she did, after watching her heal Torin after he'd fallen out of the tree.
Somehow, Phoebus knew that mentioning Riley's terror would get Adrienne smiling again. Even if it was for a second, it was worth it. " Yeah, he was. Is? I dont' know. He just...you're scary with a beaters bat, did you not know this?" He asked, teasing her a little again.

" Well," He began, as she informed him it was just a game." I get that. It's just...you know. Intense. Not that I don't think YOU can handle it, because YOU most certainly can. Such a...tough cookie you are, " He said uncertainly.

Recovering from that, he thought about what to say again. " I'm sorry. I know I can't change what happened with what I'm saying, but...I am sorry. For your fingers hurting and everything else." He waited a minute or so to speak again and he had to smile. " However, I think this year I'm going to have something pretty nifty to look back on. You know. Having a girlfriend and all." He said, trying to find the silver lining in all of this. Then he realized she was probably just still sore and displeased." I'm sure Healer Ashford will be out soon and have you healed in no time," He offered, trying for the more normal route of comforting.
