With her heart still beating at a fairly fast rate, Gabriella nodded in acknowledgment. "Professor Lawson...injured student...," she said, repeated bits and pieces of what the girl had just said. Her words were broken, because she was scurrying about the room grabbing a few phials and equipment she thought she might need. She'd healed her fair share of severely injured children lately, so she pretty much had an idea of what to expect.

Turning to the few students still in her office, she said, "I may or may not be right back. You may wait here, and if I'm too long, just let yourselves out," she said. "I'm terribly sorry." Although, she imagined the children understood that she needed to leave in order to tend to an injured student. On that note, she turned and hurried out the door, motioning for Sydney to follow suit.

OOC for those who were previously meeting with Gabriella: Feel free to play this as you wish. Either way, if you choose for your character to stay, I'll roleplay Gabriella coming right back in to finish the meeting.
