Mina scrunched her forehead in thought. Why couldn't she remember anything. She remembered being excited for the slumber party and being able to use her new sleeping bag. She had new pajamas and everything.
Glancing down, she noticed her appearance and the blood. Looking back up, a look of terror came to her face. What had happen to her? Her eyes darted a little from side to side as her mind started to race. She needed to remember what happen to her. Think Mina, think!
"At the party, I played twister and had some punch. But then I was going to listen to the story and then..." she whispered. She couldn't remember anything clearly after that point in time. Bits and pieces of things flashed in her head though. "I left the great hall and then...I remember voices and someone crying." It was getting harder to remember the images flashing through her head.
Marcus was thinking hard as Mina went onto explain what had taken place. And he could think of a couple of reasons why a young girl who was having fun with her friends would just up and leave them in the middle of the activities.
"Okay Mina, you're doing great. Now when you had some punch did it taste funny to you at all? And the voices you heard, did your recognise any of the voices?"

"Thank you Rex" Marcus said as he took the glass of water from him, "Oh and Rex, do you think you can go and get the headmaster for me please? It's rather urgent."
He shifted Mina in his arms so that she was sitting up slightly and he held the glass of water to her lips. "Here you go Mina, take a sip of this."
