And she hoped JD wasn't hiding again, because he'd done well. Things had just gone against them when it came to the snitch. And probably the weather. Or it might be her curiosity about if her fingers really were broken, since all she knew for sure was that they really hurt. Way more than her nose, which was why she was fairly sure that wasn't broken. And she'd seen the Huffie beater with the bloody nose after the match too. Which, since her nose wasn't bleeding, also convinced her her fingers were worse.
Leaning against Phoebus a little more as the thoughts kept going through her head, she just let the fact he was there sort of center her a little. "I know. We did really well with the Quaffle. And the bludgers. And I don't even blame anything on Tibi and Nia. It wasn't their fault either. We just really wanted to win, so the fall is kinda hard right now," she said with another sigh, as she glanced at her hand again. At least they still had the match with Slytherin to try and win.
As Adrienne leaned on Phoebus just tad more, he shifted his arm so she would be more comfortable, listening to her as she spoke about the match. If nothing else, he could listen to her, let her vent if she needed to.
" Yeah you guys did. You were good too. I was both impressed and horrified watching you go crazy out there with the Beaters bat." He joked. " I think Riley might have had a more horrified reaction, just because he knows you'd use it on him in second." He added more to the teasing, just to make it a more light hearted situation.
Oddly, he wasn't that nervous around her now. Not when he knew she was bound to be sort of mopey for a while. " Yeah. It's disappointing when you don't win, I get it. Even if I'm no good at all at Quidditch," he chuckled." You guys have that other match though. " He told her, maintaining some optimism. Truthfully, Quidditch wasn't a big deal either way to Phoebus. But since Adrienne was Captain...he knew it was going to be a bigger deal now than it had been before. " Do your fingers still hurt a lot?" He asked, frowning slightly at her hand again.
