Chris looked around again, much slower this time, and saw and heared that he was in the Hospital Wing. He focused on Healer Ashford and then felt his face turn pink and warm. "I'm sorry Ms. Ashford, didnt mean to yell." he said with a sheepish grin.
He was hoping she wouls suggest something for pain. He took the small phial she handed him and then drank it right there. he felt much better after he was finished, but he still hurt some. "Ok so bedrest, gotcha Ms. Ashford!" he said sitting up and swinging his legs onto the floor.
Not wanting Chris to feel embarrassed or apologetic about the fact that he'd yelled so loudly, Gabriella gave the prefect a warm smile.
"There's no need to apologize, Mr. Potter. Your reaction was perfectly understandable," she remarked. Sure, the reaction had definitely given her poor heart a test to see if it was working properly, but in the end, she definitely understood.
She nodded in reply when he mentioned knowing and understanding the need for bed rest.
"That's right, Mr. Potter, and do try and be careful the next time you're playing Quidditch," she added. Although, she knew Quidditch accidents were really quite common and unavoidable at times.
"Now you head off and get some bed rest, and I'm going to go take care of the others in the waiting room. Have a good day!" With another smile and a wave, Healer Ashford turned and headed out the room.
