Blake panicked and leaped to his feet as he hastily tried to wipe off the water gliding on his lime green iPod but what happened next made him jump and drop his precious companion on the floor. For one sick second, he thought he was going to get fired. However, as he focused more on his surroundings, he realized it was only Faith who was chuckling at his fall. He breathed a silent sigh of relief and bent down to pick his ipod. Shoving it in his pocket, Blake jerked his wet arms and smiled widely.
Ignoring what Faith was instructing him to do, he moved towards her while she was cleaning the stove and placed his hands on her shoulder as he spun her around gently, "I'm SO happy!" He said, grinning from ear to ear and raised his hand for a high five. "C'mon leave this." He grabbed the rag from her hand and started to clean the stove himself, "You go and take care of outside, I'll handle things here." He said to her and continued to clean the stove, impatiently glancing at his wrist watch. When is the clock going to strike nine? He was literally itching to see her again.
Faith wiped the tears falling from her face and jumped when Blake was suddenly at her side. She turned her head, determined not to let anyone see her like this. That month was a very short one, but she wasn't going to get all emotional every time they turned around.
"I rather finish what I started back here." she choked out continuing cleaning the stove she was currently working on. It was one thing to let one of her co-workers see her like this. They knew what happened, but to be seen like this in front of customers was a shame. They wouldn't know what happened.
