On his friend part, of course.
"Well, I would bargain on it," he muttered firmly, his grin softening into a smile. Because he was adamant about being it, however many '- and evers,' he had to add on at the end. Plus, being 'adam-ant' was practically his name. That was reason enough for him to be it.
"Roommates, eh? You asked you parents yet?" he said, grinning again. But even if they said no, and kept her prisoner, he'd rescue her! Plus, he'd already started looking at houses, and apartments, and flats. Big ones. Well, big enough...
... to keep her shoes in. Hehe.
Now Adam frowned, and pulled Lori into a hug. "I wont get a sleeping bag, and you don't need sleep to look decent. You're beautiful anyways." Cheesey, or what? Soppy much? Not to Adam, but probably to everyone else.
"Nah, you know you couldn't," he said with a shake of his head. Translated, 'I couldn't cope without you.'
Lori frowned even more, and rolled her eyes. "They are horrible. They are disgusting, get one and I personally, will never, nevereverever speak to you again. Believe me, spiders are NOT nice. And I shall not be associated with anyone who HAS such vermin." Yes, that was her opinion, and there she had said it. Told him. So now he knew.
"Well I wouldn't bargain, on you being right to bargain on it. And that's all I'll say on the matter. Because, I might end up saying something bad. That you'll regret making me say. And I miiiiiight just have an ounce of regret for saying." Yeah, an ounce. Maybe something smaller than that. You never knew with her, never knew. Could be an ounce, could be a bit more, could be none, could be alot more, that she would never admit to. Never, ever, ever.
"Yeah, roommates. And yeah, mother said I was doing no such thing, and father added his response to another owl. He said it's fine, as long as I spend the first two days with him, so he can take me shopping. Aaaaand, he said, you have to meet him. But that'll be when he drops me off at yours. I'm not allowed to travel without him over the summer. But yeah, father agreed. Mother not so much, but you know... I dont care about her really. It isn't like I'm name-bonded to them. I'm the only Bristol in my family. The first, and the last. Perfect." Hehe.
Hugging him back, Lori softened at his touch again, and then glared up at him; but her features softened miliseconds afterwards as she chuckled. "You'll get a sleeping bag, even if you wont sleep in it, okay? For me? I might waaant two. When I sleep. Which I rpobably wont do." She purposely ignored the comment about her prettiness, just because she would seem vain.
.. Which she totally, wasnt.
"I know, I could. I did it before, didn't I?"
