Sudden Move
He was not paying attention to the wand he grabbed when he stood to face to the two young boys. He should have realized that it was the Weasley boy’s, and everyone knew that his wand was not in the best shape at the moment.
Even though he had been a Ravenclaw, common sense was not his strong point.
It didn’t matter, though. What did they expect him to do, really? They were FORCING him to face a monster! His next move was purely out of defense, although little did he know it would also ruin his future career.
