For once, Neville wasn’t thinking about taking out his anger on the Carrows during class. Instead, he was silent, chewing on the tip of his quill and periodically glancing at Hannah across the room.
Ernie and Hannah had officially broken up six months ago today. That meant that enough time had passed, and he could ask her out without worrying about her saying ‘it’s too soon’.
He was going to do it. After class. He’d walk right up to her and ask her on a date.
No…he couldn’t. There was no way. He was too chicken.
