Warren had been trying to convince Lucille that, despite being a first year, he already had a N.E.W.T in Arithmancy. That was how clever he was. And girls liked clever guys, right? Lucille had the impression that he was trying to impress her.
He was going all the wrong way about it.
“Ok then,” said Lucille, “If you do, what exactly IS Arithmancy?”
Warren stopped dead. “Errrr…..” A knowing smile played on Lucille’s lips.
“You don’t know, do you?”
“Yes!”
She stared at him. “Warren…”
