Omens 6. Divination




“Today class, we will be learning hot to read tea leaves,” the Divination professor says. “Drink up your tea, and we can get started.”

Tom drinks his tea and exchanges cups with Angelina Merriweather. She swirls the dredge around.

“Let’s see… I think I see a giant,” Angelina says.

“Giants mean there is or will be a serious obstacle in my future,” Tom reads. “Anything else?”

“It looks like a bird.”

“Could it be a falcon? It means I will have a persistent enemy.”

“Angelina looks at the leaves again. I must have read them wrong. That’s a terrible future.”
