Harry's Wish Fulfilled
There had been no thinking required. He saw the handle sticking out the hat, he grabbed the sword, and just like that, Voldemort’s snake was no more.
Now, Voldemort was teeming with anger, and Neville knew the end was near.
What did he expect? At least he would die knowing he had fulfilled Harry’s last wish—that was all that mattered.
Suddenly, something stopped him. An invisible shield of some sort went up between the Dark Lord and himself, and he took his chance.
He jumped up to his feet and, without a second thought, ran and rejoined the battle.
