Of course, there was still a possibility the guy was just faking and wouldn't take his spells, but he didn't think he would do that. He knew he should stupefy him, but didn't really want to. That would be mean and it felt too dishonest now that he was already confused.

1) What is cannon fodder and what can you do to avoid becoming it?
2) What can you do when facing a more talented and powerful adversary?
"If you are injured, please make your way to the hospital wing prior to heading to you next lesson. I will write notes of excuse for those who need them. Good day."
Yes, class was over. Marie would not be sticking around to duel again. No way, once was enough for her in one day. She didn't want to risk being hung upsidedown and knocked unconscious again. Although she could use the extra credit points. She looked around to see if there were any older students who looked like they were going to stick around when she noticed Evan.
Evan was still dueling and it appeared as if he was winning.
'Yay go Evan' she silently cheered to herself. She didn't want to yell it out and cause him to lose his concentation, that would be bad.
She grabbed her things, wrote down the homework assignment then watched Evan. She would just wait for him to finish before she decided if she was going to stay and duel anymore.
