Silly girl! Nate thought to himself. She was scared of the metal detector. Nate smiled as he set his shoes and anything in his pockets in the bin. "Put your shoes and your purse in there. Take everything out of your pockets and put it in there. They will scan it for guns and knifes and things to make sure your not trying to cause harm. This doorway thing is a metal detector. It makes sure you don't have anything that belongs in there that isn't there." he said doing what he was explaining. "It won't hurt you. Just make sure you put everything into there." He pointed at the plastic blueish gray bin.

Nate walked threw the scanner and waited for her to come threw it. As soon as she had her shoes back on he held her hand in a way that said 'I won't let anything happen to you. I promise.' He rubbed his thumb over her ring and smiled.
