 Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science!
Oliver crinkled his nose. Wet shoes? Oooh.. 'cos she'd been out for a late night stroll in the lake!', he finished the sentence in his head and it, rather worryingly, made so much sense to his addled brain right now. Was he concussed? The back of his head was rather sore too come to think of it. It had just been drowned out by the other aches and pains in his body. He raised his hand and rubbed the back of his head – yep.. there was a nice bump right there under his hair. Ouch.
Running his fingers over his new bald patch he pouted a little as he looked at Nancy and merely nodded. He didn't know what to say about it except that it scared him, and he certainly didn't want scare Nancy who was clearly very worried already. “Weird, huh?” He smiled a little trying to make light of it. “Think the local muggle monastery would take me on as a monk?” Cos they had weird bald patches of hair, didn't they? .. though not quite like Oliver's. Ohhh.. his brain did HURT so!
His expression brightened at the mention of this Ms Ashford. He had no idea who the woman was being new to Hogwarts but her name sounded nice. Like she'd be the nice friendly sort to help a poor student get to his destination. “Ms Ashford you say?” He looked thoughtful. “Why don't you go and ask her if she's got one and I'll wait here.” Or in the common room! He looked back down the corridor and groaned when he saw how far away the welcoming Slytherin refuge was. The corridor was groooowing! He was sure of it! Gosh – this wasn't much fun. He slumped against the wall and looked at Nancy with a defeated expression. “Yeah... I'll wait here while you go get help.” He pouted. He didn't like feeling so useless.. and such a damn charity case! It wasn't the lad's style at all.
