Theme : The Sea, using 8 runes.
Symbols and meanings: (Anticlockwise, starting from the bottom-most rune)
Albatross : A journey, flight, a learning process, escape, joy
Oyster : fortune, bounty, discovery, opening
Fish : Femininity, fertility, nurture, beauty, mystery, infinite depth, unpredictability
Whale (spout) : Masculinity, protector, power, justice, gentleness, dependability
Eel : trickery, surprise, elusive, a shock
Predator : A warning, danger, mistake, restoration of balance
Dawn/Dusk : Beginning, End, hope, guidance, a connection or relationship
Tempest : turmoil, difficulty, confusion, decision
Added note : I made these though by very un-natural means, using a glue-gun, gold glitter and a marker.. although I would LOVE to try these with wood or clay (and then polish the clay to a mirror-shine.. when I have time someday). The picture was touched-up using GIMP to make the runes clearer. Quote:
